Born in Düsseldorf in 1985, I studied philosophy, history and literature in Cologne and Paris. I've been fascinated by film since high school, making short films with my friends. In 2013, I moved permanently to Paris where I worked as a location manager, production manager and assistant director on documentaries, shorts and features. In 2016, I directed my first self-produced short film, "Paris, 1969", which won the 2017 Label Film Prize from the Maison du Film and was selected for several international festivals. I then made another short film, this time in Cologne. The film, entitled "Oh Claire!", was completed in 2022. Just recently, I completed "La Photographe", my third short film.
