About the film
Autumn 1969: The worldwide student movement is over and the armed struggle of the 70s has not yet begun. It is a transitional period, and the visit to Paris of the group formed around Andreas Baader is more like a holiday than an underground activity. My post-May 68 Paris is wintry, disillusioned, almost gloomy: the streets deserted, the clothes outdated, the sky overcast.
